Although it's stated that it will catch 30 frame rates per second, I have only been able to get 19 max with a fully charged battery (as far as I can tell since there is no way to check the battery charge, nor does the red charging light go off as stated, even after 12 hours of charging!!) and the highest quality SD card. This is a false advertisement. Luckily I bought it from an American importer, so he has to hear me complain about it. I just wanted to let the facts be known. Although still a great camera for the size, the weight is quite heavy for many applications and as Adam mentioned the view of the lens is rather narrow when close to objects. Seems quite durable with the metal case. Very convenient for web cam use as well, a nice feature to it's credit.

This camera is truly impressive for it's small size. It is perfect for recording action sports. I have it mounted to my ice hockey helmet and it records all of the action. Files are recorded as avi files. Connects easily with a USB cable and just copy the files off. It's a perfect mini digital video recorder as long as you don't need to review the video while recording or out in the field. It's set and forget. The battery lasted about an hour on my first use but I'm not sure it was fully charged yet. The only suggestion I would make would be to have the lens be more wide angle but as is it captures an acceptable view at an angle of 62 degree view.
